This is the privacy regulation of the websites: www.spackbv.com and www.spack.nl (hereinafter ”œWebsites”) and gives you, as a user of the Websites, insight into the data that Spack BV processes in this context, the purposes for which we process them and the manner in which they are processed.

Spack BV respects the privacy of all users of the Websites and ensures that the personal information you provide to us is treated confidentially.

Functional cookies
These cookies are necessary to perform the requested service or display the requested websites and their functionality. Examples of such cookies are cookies that track which books are in the shopping cart, that remember a login and cookies to remember the user's language preference during the browser session. This will make the site much more user-friendly.

Spack BV shares personal data with third parties in the following cases:

  • If we provide such data to our (sub)processors in order to perform the (part of the) services assigned to them. These third parties may only process the data on our (sub)instructions and we require that these parties agree to process such data according to our instructions and in accordance with these privacy regulations and other desired measures on confidentiality and security;

We appreciate the trust you place in us and we will therefore handle your data with extreme care.

Spack BV takes appropriate security measures as protection against unauthorised access to or unauthorised modification, disclosure or destruction of data. This includes internal controls of our policies and security measures relating to the collection, storage and processing of data, as well as physical security measures as protection against unauthorised access to systems on which we store personal data.

Inspection, correction and deletion of personal data and opposition
Spack BV shall make a good faith effort to provide users of its Websites and other data subjects with access to their personal data or otherwise allow access to their personal data, to correct such data if incorrect, or to remove, retrieve or restrict processing or oppose processing of such data upon request, all in accordance with the legal rights of such data subject(s).

Spack BV will ask the requestor to identify themselves before processing such requests. Spack BV may refuse to process such requests that are unreasonably repetitive or systematic, require disproportionate technical effort, jeopardise the privacy of others, or are practically impracticable. Spack BV carries out this service as soon as possible and - insofar as it can be considered responsible - at its own expense, except if carrying out this service requires excessive efforts, in which case it may charge the compensation permitted in accordance with the then applicable laws and regulations to the data subject concerned. In cases where Spack BV can be regarded as a processor within the meaning of the applicable personal data protection legislation, Spack BV is entitled to charge a fee for the costs of the above.

Retention period
SPACK BV keeps personal data as identifiable data for as long as it is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected as described in this privacy policy. Anonymised data may possibly be kept longer by Spack BV.

New developments and changes Privacy policy
These regulations may be amended from time to time, for example to bring them in line with the then applicable laws and regulations. If this privacy policy is amended, this will be announced in a timely manner on the Websites.
